Lorraine Sterkel began working in real estate on the Central Coast in 1978 and has been a licensed broker since 1987.  She moved to the area in 1977.  She has lived in Los Osos, San Luis Obispo and currently lives in Morro Bay where she raised three wonderful children.  This proud parent has her oldest son, who graduated from UCSB, living close by with his wife and child, and they own their own home.  Her middle daughter, who graduated from Sonoma State, lives in Morro Bay with her husband and is also a real estate sales associate at Horizon Realty.  Her youngest daughter graduated from CSU Monterey Bay and received her credential in elementary education.   She is also living here on the central coast.

Lorraine started with Pedersen Realty in 1983, and became the new owner in October 2014.  She has years of experience in real estate sales and marketing, market value evaluation, and working with both homeowners, investors of multiple units and commercial property and tenants in the management of long-term and vacation rentals.  She is a member of the Morro Bay Rotary, Scenic Coast Board of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay Chambers of Commerce.  She has been actively involved in the community through her volunteer work with Rotary and the San Luis Obispo Chamber as an ambassador..

Lorraine attributes her success to her professionalism, personal communication skills, expertise and knowledge of the area, and her ability to work effectively and professionally with all types of buyers, sellers, investors and tenants.  Life is good!
